The Shaw Family

About a year ago the Shaw family contacted me for a session and we worked on setting different dates throughout the year but just couldn’t get our timing right. We finally got our schedules in sync and I was able to photograph their session. It was the first time I had met them and instantly they made me feel comfortable around them. We did a very casual evening session. I enjoyed just hanging out with them, getting to know them and capturing them being who they are. Thank you Shaw family for allowing me the privilege of...

Michael & Malinda Engagement Sesssion

Its always fun for me to photograph a couple that is naturally comfortable in front of the camera. Michael and Malinda were exactly that for their shoot. We started at their new home (Congratulations!) and ventured to three other locations throughout the evening. The light was just perfect and they had a great time just being themselves around each other. Thank you both for a wonderful evening and photographs. I am so excited to capture your special day in the...

Birthday Boy

Birthday Boy

Being a boy is an amazing and adventurous time in life. Imagination runs wild in the mind of a child. The stories are larger than life and the adventures are big. I had my own as a boy, and it is so much fun to be able to watch my sons’ adventures as he grows. The night before his 5th birthday he asked if we could go on a bear hunt in the woods with his modest, but lovingly crafted, handmade bow and arrow set. He had been hunting targets, he made out of take out pizza boxes, around the backyard for weeks, and now it was...

The Edwards Family

I love this family and seeing them together to capture such wonderful sweet natural moments is such a wonderful thing to witness. We had so much fun on our session. Nothing was planned, we just went out into a field and shot pictures. Those usually end up being the best sessions. Just let the kids be kids, let them be themselves, and that is when the magic of love and family...

The Parsons Maternity Session

This session was so much fun. So much fun in fact, we had to break it into two sessions. The weather may have had something to do with that, but it actually worked out well. I am so excited for these two. John and Tracie just have so much love to give, they love life, God and the people around them. Their little bundle of Joy is coming into a world of love and laughter that will no doubt be full of blessings. John and Tracie, I am thrilled for you both. Thanks for being such a fun couple to work with and allowing me to capture...

Introducing Graham Sammons (Middle Georgia Newborn Photography)

I had the pleasure of meeting baby Graham Sammons last weekend. Although he wasn’t really feeling a photo session, he was kind enough to let me snap some very sweet moments in between the cries. Seeing Sean hold and calm him with such ease was a wonderful sight to watch and photograph. Michelle also had her own little trick, running her finger over his tiny forehead, that worked wonderfully to soothe him . Becoming a parent is a beautiful thing and you instinctively know what calms your child when they need it. Alden tried to steal...

Patrick + Sara = Slaughter (Middle Georgia Wedding Photographer)

Patrick and Sara are the most calm and collective groom and bride I have had the honor of photographing. I have been so blessed with wonderful brides and grooms, and weddings can be stressful! When your beautiful outdoor wedding at Tryphena Gardens is threatened by rain, it can make for some stressful moments. Not for these two, their wedding was absolutely beautiful. Although it rained just moments before the ceremony, you never would have known it. Unless that is, you spotted the beautiful rainbow in the distance....
